We invest after the proof of concept
We look for real business models and for founders intent on building durable companies. Our primary focus is B2B software, and we commit once a first commercial proof of concept is in place.

We invest in early-stage technology companies in Switzerland and stay with their founders well beyond the first round.
Spicehaus Partners AG is an independent Swiss venture capital investor, wholly owned by its partners. We focus on early-stage companies in the Swiss technology sector.
Our team combines institutional investment experience with the practice of building companies – and applies both on behalf of the founders we back. Since 2012 we have invested in more than 40 companies, and we remain closely involved long after a round has closed.
Our portfolio spans the sectors in which Swiss engineering and software meet genuine commercial demand – from fintech and insurtech to robotics, cybersecurity and industrial AI. We typically lead the round, and we work alongside founders from the first close onwards.

Our approach is deliberate rather than quick. Each stage rests on the one before it, so that conviction is established before capital is committed – and so that support continues long after it has been.

We look for real business models and for founders intent on building durable companies. Our primary focus is B2B software, and we commit once a first commercial proof of concept is in place.

We typically act as lead investor, bringing structure and pace to the round. An efficient process allows founders to remain focused on what matters – building and scaling the business.

Our involvement does not end at the closing. We open our corporate network and work with our portfolio companies on the decisions that shape the next stage of their growth.
Our team combines institutional investment experience with the practice of founding and building companies – more than thirty years of it, across private equity, investment banking and Swiss technology start-ups.
We read every approach that reaches us. If you are building a technology company in Switzerland and preparing your first institutional round, we would like to hear from you.
